WelcomeWelcome to Coastal Climate Action - a loose grouping of people living in the coastal area, from Ilfracombe round to Croyde, who want to raise awareness of the challenge of climate change, and to explore more environmentally-friendly ways of living.Over time, we hope that this website will contain all sorts of helpful information, advice about practical action you can take, and news of local events and activities. Please feel free to contribute your own ideas and to share news .. We do not want CCA to become a closed shop or a clique - rather, a forum (via website, meetings and events) for all to bring their ideas and suggestions - and then go off and do their own thing (with others). At present, the organisational side has been kept to a minimum - the feeling is that we need to be fluid and flexible. |

The Washing Machine. New models use as little as 40 litres per wash cycle, whereas older models can use up to 100 litres! Only use your machine when you have a full load or choose a short economy cycle. These use less water and less energy too! |
